Animal Communicators

By Nicole Graham • Category: Spotlight On

As my husband and I prepared ourselves for our four-week holiday I felt the need to tell my two cats, Missy and Pirate that we were going away.  I know it may sound strange to some, but Missy and Pirate are part of our family and needed to know that we were going away and would be returning.  I had told them verbally but was unsure if the message was getting through so decided to call upon an Animal Communicator to help me.

“A What?” I hear you ask.

An ‘Animal Communicator’ is a person who connects with animals using telepathic processes, basically tapping into their intuition and “listening”, not with their ears, but with their hearts.  It is a language based on feeling, emotion and mental images.  I’ve read, that this is the way all animals communicate with each other.

Actually, we are all born with the ability to communicate with each other in this way; it is only when we learn the spoken word and are conditioned to think logically, rather than using our intuition that we forget this more subtle method of communication.

I decided to contact Sandra Larson, a fellow Soul Coach and also a highly recommended Animal Communicator.

MissySandra’s conversations with my two cats, Missy and Pirate was exactly how I imagined it might be.  Missy has a strong personality and is very independant so it did not surprise me when she told Sandra that she had been in queue all day waiting to talk with her.  Where as Pirate has always been timid because he was mistreated before finding us, and he initially thought he was in trouble.  Bless him!

Sandra not only communicated that we were going away and we had people coming in to house/cat sit, but she also was able to reassure Pirate that he would be safe with the people staying.  Upon returning from our holiday and hearing about his antics, I knew, he knew, he was safe and could be his usual affectionate self.

Sandra uses a method of communication called the CLARAC Approach in talking with animals. She explains this method in her soon to be release book, “Animal Conversing, the CLARAC Approach”. Each of the letters in word CLARAC represents a step in communicating with animals and nature. Because all life is connected, it is only a matter of tuning the channel to the correct receiver. Additionally, parents can use this approach with their pre-verbal infants and even babies in the womb. Sandra’s intention in creating this method is to help people connect with all life that does not speak speak the human language.

Why use an Animal Communicator?  You can use them for just about anything… you may want to find out what your pet is feeling, what their dislikes or likes are or if they’ve got any health concerns.  You may want to use them when your pet is ill, just as I did when Pirate was diagnosed with Cancer.

I contacted Sandra again because even though I knew I would do what was best for Pirate with regards to releasing him into spirit, I was so emotional that I didn’t trust my intuition so by having Sandra communicate my concerns and his wishes, I was able to do what was right and the best for him, without prolonging his life due to my own personal needs.  I believe that without Sandra’s help, Pirate and I would not have been able to spend the last couple of hours together saying good bye.  It was a bitter sweet end and today it still makes me cry.

He showed me what it is like to love unconditionally.  When he found us, Missy and I six years ago, he was a scrawny, sickly looking cat who was afraid of everything, and over time he blossomed into a beautiful natured boy that just wanted to show his love in every possible way.

In saying that, Sandra helps people to grieve the loss of a beloved pet, can connect with animals that have transitioned as well as helps those coming to terms with the next step in their pets life.

I look forward to Sandra’s book being published as I am now keen to communicate more effectively with my girl Missy.  She’s been affected by Pirate’s passing and a month later is still on the look out for him.  She’s missing her rumbling buddy and I’m now spending more time talking with her, knowing that she is hearing me.  Thanks Sandra!

This story is dedicated to my boy, Pirate.

Images are by Nicole Graham.  Missy is our tortishell and 13 years old.  Pirate was approx. 14 or 15 years old, and was white with a black patch above his eye.
