10 Tips to Living Your Best Life
By Kathleen Grandfield • Category: Spiritual HealthYou can make changes at any stage in your life so that you are living your best life. To get you started, here are 10 Tips to Living Your Best Life.
1. Begin Within. Start your spiritual journey from within yourself since there you will find the source of your intentions. There is a goldmine of knowledge within you if you just allow yourself to explore.
2. Love and Honor Yourself. When you love and honor who and what you are, then others will love and respect you. Self-love is the energetic source of your own destiny.
3. Examine your Personal Energy Field. The best way to attract happy enjoyable people around you is to have the right “Love Frequency” emanating from you. Ask yourself how optimistic, happy and peaceful you are…be honest!
4. Take a Deep Breath. Breathing deeply and focusing on your breath helps calm the mind and move out stale energy.
5. Engage in Moments of Silence. We live in a world of information overload. Spending some time in silence helps us get in touch with our core feelings and gives us a greater capacity to have more clarity in our lives. Getting rid of “toxic sounds” can help us have more vibrational tranquility.
6. Say Daily Affirmations. Even though an affirmation appears to be a simple tool, it can indeed create dramatic results since through the act of saying the affirmation we are “re-training” our brain. Our thoughts create a series of neurons igniting, which trigger small electrical impulses. Our cognitive responses follow certain neural pathways in our brains. When we repeat experiences and what we’ve learned, our thought responses follow the same pathways when exposed to similar forms of stimulation. The only way we can change old embedded patterns is to create other patterns of neural pathways. Voilá…the affirmation. Through repetition of the affirmation we can consciously choose new patterns of neural pathways that lead to different thoughts and results.
7. Frame Your Day by Doing a Short Meditation. Before jumping out to bed in the morning try a quick meditation and focus on an optimistic, harmonious day filled with wonderful surprises and fabulous people.
8. Embrace the Intricacy of a Beautiful Flower. Sometimes the very act of focusing on something beautiful creates an immediate shift in energy.
9. Give a Friend a Surprise Gift. The act of giving from your heart when least expected is a wonderful way of creating beautiful energy.
10. Laugh Every Day. Laughter helps remove the toxins and relieves stress.
Wishing you a best life!

I need to write this “top ten” list on my office wall! Life is getting so hectic that we seldom, if ever, do any of these things. If we took better care of ourselves, we would have so much more energy and love to give to others. Thanks for the article!

These are brilliant and balanced guidelines for anyone. Thank you Kathleen! I believe that your willingness to venture sends a message to the universe that you are playing the game to its fullest. Even if your actions don’t immediately, directly produce results, it’s almost like the pressure differential of your passion will draw to you those who are actually sensitive and moving with the flow of the universe.
Thanks, Kathleen! Great tips. I agree, with all the technological tools that we have at our disposal life gets more challenging and we have less time. These tips helps to slow the pace down and be grateful of all the blessings we experience in our every day life. To not live without experience the beauty in everything and everyone.
Have a great day!

Aloha Kathy! I just had to get back to you, and report that your tips have really helped me both personally and professionally.
I’ve discovered a tremendous value in #8 “Embrace the Intricacy of a Beautiful Flower” in so many ways. Obviously, it has helped me stop and appreciate beauty (including yours {: ), but there’s one more thing… I understand now that difficulty, pain, and suffering also have an intricate beauty. The intricate beauty is not in the suffering itself, but in US as we find our inner strengths and emotions to move through them and survive stronger than ever!!
Thanks You, Kathy!! I will even use some of those ideas on my web site: http://www.attendingthemiracle.com Let’s attend the miracle we live every day!
Love,
Philip
Thank you everyone for all your lovely comments! Maylo, who is a very wise 6 year old, told me recently, as I was rushing him to walk faster to get to school on time, to stop and look up at the sky. He said “Look how beautiful the sky is this morning!” He blew me away with that comment. It’s so simple and we make it so complicated. I encourage all of you to stop and every so often look up at the sky…it is beautiful!
Thank you my dear Katalina for inspiring me with your wisdom. I will try to apply all of these wonderful tips to my life. I love all of them but most of all number 10 because laughter is the cure to many of our problems. You are so insightful and such an incredible human being. The world needs more extraordinary people like you!!! Thank you so much for working so hard at keeping me focus and always being there me. Please continue writing such wonderful articles because you have the gift and we all need the help. I promise you and Milo that I will stop often and look up at the sky!!!!
